To get you in the mood, the Festival opens with the energetic and downright joyous comedy O Pai O, set amdist the craziness of the last day of carnival in Salvador, Bahia. African gods and Catholic saints are constantly invoked, while Samba reggae provides the pulse behind the soulful soundtrack by Davi Moraes and Caetano Veloso.
